POLICE are appealing for information after a bag of medication was stolen from a car in the town earlier this month.

Police Scotland’s Tayside Division said the theft occurred sometime between 12 noon and 3 p.m., on Tuesday, April 9 from a car parked in the Red Lion Caravan Park.

They also warned of the dangers of consuming medication that belongs to another person and explained any medication can be dangerous if taken by someone other than the person it is prescribed to and if taken in unprescribed quantities.

Anyone who has any information that could lead to the recovery of these drugs should contact Tayside Division on 101.

Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
