Police are investigating boilers thefts from a new development in Arbroath.

Police in Arbroath are investigating the theft of two boilers from a new development of flats near to the town’s harbour.

The boilers along with the fixtures and fittings were taken from the development at Old Shore Head last week.

It is thought the thefts occurred sometime between 5.45 p.m. on Thursday, September 26 and 7.15 a.m. on Friday, September 27.

And police are appealing for information into the thefts.

Meanwhile local officers have also launched a probe after wooden trellis and plants were stolen from a home in the town.

They were taken from a house in Bruce Road sometime between 11.30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25 and 5 p.m. on Thursday, September 26.

The owners Vauxhall Zafira which was parked in the driveway was also damaged at the same time.
