POLICE in Arbroath are appealing for information after prescription medication was lost in the town centre area on Monday (May 14).
The drug that was lost was morphine sulphate.
In appealing for information to assist enquiries, Tayside Police also warn of the dangers of consuming medication that belongs to another person.
They added that any medication can be dangerous if taken by someone other than the person it is prescribed to and if taken in unprescribed quantities.
Anyone who has any information that could lead to the recovery of these drugs should contact Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222.
Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
