Jewellery stolen at Inverkeilor

Officers of Tayside Division of Police Scotland are making enquiries after a break-in at a house in Lunan Avenue, Inverkeilor.

It took place between midnight on Tuesday, October 29, and 8.40 a.m. on Friday, November 1.

A number of items of jewellery were stolen. They included a lady’s ruby bracelet, a lady’s gold and ruby necklace, a lady’s ruby ring, a gents’ silver ring and a set of silver cuff links.

Also stolen was a two-figure sum of money and a four-figure sum of Australian dollars.

Anyone who was in the area and who saw or heard anything suspicious should call Tayside Division on 101. Similarly, if anyone has been offered any of these items they should call the same number.
