Another break-in at McColls

TAYSIDE Police officers in Arbroath are investigating another break-in at the Arbirlot Road premises of R.S. McColls, the third in only three weeks.

The latest incident occurred at about 4.30 a.m. on Christmas Day. A quantity of National Lottery scratchcards and cigarettes were stolen.

At the time of the break-in a male was seen in the area who is described as of stocky build aged between 20 and 30 years, wearing a dark beanie hat, dark jacket, blue and white hooded top, navy jeans and black and white trainers and navy gloves.

Previous break-ins took place on December 8 and 15.

If anyone has any information regarding this incident or knows who is responsible they are asked to contact Tayside Police on 0300 111 22 22 or speak with any officer. People should also contact the police should they be offered any cigarettes or scratchcards that they suspect to be stolen.
