WITH the Tartan Day Scotland Festival currently under way across Angus and beyond, Tartan Spirit, one of Scotland’s top luxury fashion brands, has announced that a selection if its latest designs will be on sale at an exclusive ‘pop-up shop’ at Carnoustie Golf Hotel on Wednesday (April 3).

Tartan Spirit Designer Joyce Young OBE, whose studio and workshop are in Glasgow, explained that the company’s pop-up shop is part of the couture fashion show being held during the Tartan Day Scotland Festival.

She said: “The fashion show is taking place on the evening of April 3 in Carnoustie Golf Hotel and will feature some of Scotland’s top models wearing Tartan Spirit’s very latest designs, which are inspired by the colours of Scotland’s landscape and made from precious Scottish fabrics such as Harris Tweed, Cashmere and, of course, tartan.

“The outfits on the catwalk will be available for sale or order at the fashion show but there’s such a demand for Tartan Spirit’s high-fashion garments and accessories, we decided to offer anyone in the Angus area who can’t make it to the fashion show the opportunity to browse through our latest range of mini kilts, stylish suits and jackets at a temporary shop during the Tartan Day Scotland Festival.”

Joyce added that the Tartan Spirit Pop-Up Shop at Carnoustie Golf Hotel will be open from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3. “There will be a number of very special offers available on some of our designs,” said Joyce, who added that a selection of Sheila Fleet jewellery and Eribe knitwear will also be available at the pop-up shop.

A limited number of tickets are still available for the Tartan Spirit Fashion Show. Tickets cost £25 each, which includes a three-course dinner, and can be booked by calling Carnoustie Golf Hotel on 01241 411979.
