Time is marching on for the Arbroath fireworks display crowdfunder which

will wind up next

week.

The Fireworks for Arbroath group have been taking part in the Crowdfund Angus campaign which has been encouraging the public to get behind local projects.

A target has been set for the fireworks display and, as we went to press, the total was at £1415, with just a handful of days to go until the project wraps up on Friday, September 18.

Fortunately the group has managed to secure all three business sponsors it had hoped for, with startup boutique cupcake business The KoKo Bean paving the way for an as yet unannounced large firm and another small business.

Karren Cuthill, chair of the Fireworks for Arbroath Group, is determined to provide as spectacular a display this year as possible.

She said: “If we hit our £2000 target our fireworks provider has promised us an extra £1000 of fireworks for free, which is great.

“Come and have a look and pledge, and join the 52 people who have supported us already on Crowdfunder. You can send a wish up in a rocket, sponsor a firework or even be in with a chance of pushing the big red button.”

For as little as £5 you can make a pledge, perks start at the £10 package and a host of bonuses are on offer at each sponsor level. To make a pledge and help Arbroath to enjoy a fantastic fireowrks display this year visit: http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/fireworks-for-arbroath-2015-1/
