Clear out and donate to PDSA to help sick and injured pets

LOCAL folk are being urged to have a clear out this weekend and donate any unwanted items to help sick and injured pets in the area.

Staff and volunteers at Arbroath PDSA store urgently need items including CDs, DVDs, books and toys, as well as home furnishings such as vases, pictures and ornaments.

Donations can be taken to the store from Monday to Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Arbroath store manager, Barbara Ferrans, said: “Why not have a spring-clean this weekend and donate your unwanted items to PDSA? We’re appealing for all sorts of items to sell in store, including unwanted CDs, unused toiletries and second-hand books.

“As well as decluttering your home you’ll be helping a very worthy cause at the same time.

“All money raised from the sale of these items will help the sick and injured pets of people in need.”

Located at 227 High Street, the Arbroath PDSA store raises funds to provide PDSA-funded veterinary treatment in the local area.
