Usually seen catching unlucky contestants on ITV’s tea-time quiz, The Chase, The Sinnerman aka Paul Sinha is not immediately recognised as a funnyman.
But his new show ‘Paul Sinha is a Stand-up Comedian’ was one of two announced by Aberdeen Performing Arts today coming to the city’s Lemon Tree this winter.
He will play the city centre venue on Sunday, December 7, as part of a UK tour while multi-award winning funny-man Marcel Lucont will stage his multimedia mélange of magnificence there on Friday, October 24.
Tickets for both shows are now on sale at www.aberdeenperformingarts.com, by phone at 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall and His Majesty’s Theatre.
Paul is best known for being a Chaser in the ITV game show The Chase, which he joined in 2011.
An English GP of Indian descent, and a less-than-successful contestant on Mastermind, The Brain of Britain, The Weakest Link and University Challenge, he has been making his name in the world of stand-up comedy for more than a decade when he started stand-up as a junior doctor.
