OVER £500 was raised at the annual contest between Hamish’s Hasbeens and Jonny Booth’s Gowfers at Ogilvy Park on Friday evening.

The Hasbeens, who had ex Arbroath manager John McGlashan and former Dundee stalwart Gav Beith in their ranks ran out 7-3 winners in a very entertaining game.

Scorers for the Hasbeens were Paul Radunski netting four, Craig Nicoll with two and a Gav Beith goal, while Scott Pearson got a brace and a Jim Shepherd converted a penalty for the Gowfers. The cash raised by the match will be split between the Cafe Project’s Street Games For all and Volunteers Abroad.
