Charity match raises £420 for Street Games

A CHARITY football match took place at Arbroath High School playing fields on Friday evening in aid of the CAFE Project’s Street Games for All.

Hamish’s Hasbeens drew 5-5 in an entertaining encounter with Mark Kubicki’s Kibs 11. Goalscorers for the Hasbeens were Andy Stirling, penalty, and two each for Andy McFarlane and the evergreen Ian Greig.

Kibs 11 scorers were Brian Eaton, Mark Kubicki and a hat-trick from the youthful Grant Milne.

The big winner on the night was Street Games for All as £420 was raised.
