Cash for Cancer Research

A CHEQUE for £323.10 was presented at Arbroath Infirmary on Monday evening from the Pink and Blue Walkers to the Angus local fund-raising committee of Cancer Research UK.

Ian Angus and David Smith accepted the donation from the four who are, from left - Karrigan Bruce, Zoe Scott, Aleisha Dickson and Ariana Dickson.

The money comprised half of the amount raised at the pink and blue walk last month organised by Joan Finlayson and Alana Loudon. The other half went to Breast Cancer Care Scotland.

At present the committee is working on their Christmas Fair which will be held in the Meadowbank, Arbroath, on Sunday, November 6, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. If any one is interested in the work of the local committee they can contact the chair, Alana Loudon, on 01241 874988.
