Carnoustie ATM robbery case goes to court

Police Scotland has confirmed that five men will appear in court today (Monday) in connection with the theft of a cash machine in Carnoustie on Friday.

The incident took place in the early hours of Friday morning at the Barry Road Co-op store and sparked a major police operation.

Five men, from the Liverpool and Birmingham areas, aged 26, 27, 28, 32 and 43, were detained on Friday and later charged.

They are expected to appear later today at Forfar Sheriff Court.
