Friends and family of an Arbroath woman found dead in Ghana are holding a candlelit vigil next week.

On Tuesday evening at 7pm those who knew Charmain Adusah, nee Speirs, are invited to Elliot beach to remember her at a special gathering.

Candles will be lit, a few words of special remembrance will be said and messages in bottles will be sent out to sea.

Those wishing to attend are being advised to either be dropped off or park in the car park at Arbroath golf course and then walk down to the beach.

In March Charmain’s body was found by staff in her hotel room in Ghana, investigators in the African state have yet to clear up the circumstances of her death.
