The talented team from an Arbroath hair salon will be rubbing shoulders with the stars this weekend as they attend a prestigious industry awards night.

The Dream Hair team will be at the INAA Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards in Glasgow on Sunday night where they have been nominated in the category for Scottish salon of the year.

They face some stiff opposition from the other five top Scottish salons up for the award, including Charlie Taylor, one of the leaders in Scottish hairdressing.

Marie McIntosh Ramminger, owner of Dream Hair, said: “The whole salon, the team and clients are so excited at the prospect of being crowned Scottish Salon of the year, but we are already one of the six to have the title of Scottish Hair Salon finalists, beating off hundreds of salons.

“Whatever the outcome of Sunday’s awards I really couldn’t be prouder of myself and my team.”

The INAA - I Need An Appointment - Awards celebrate the talent, passion and innovation of Scotland’s hair and beauty professionals with a number of accolades.

Now in its fifth year, the Awards attract top notch celebrities who come along to support their achievement.

Denise Van Outen will be the host of this year’s event.

The gongs will be given out at a glittering Masquerade Ball where guests will enjoy an evening filled with excitement and delight.
