Arbroath entrepreneurs have an opportunity to shine thanks to a series of free business workshops taking place this autumn.
The Business Gateway is offering advice and support in the form of free workshops to new and existing business owners in the town.
A range of hot topics will be covered such as bookkeeping and social media and will provide an opportunity for networking and learning how to take their venture forward.
Operations manager for Business Gateway Nicki Mearns believes the workshops will prove invaluable for local entrepreneurs.
She said: “We are committed to supporting our local business community and our summer events will reflect this with a focus on the key issues facing businesses in the area.
“Whether you are thinking of starting up a new venture or are already running one, our workshop programme will have something to help you get your business moving.“
The workshops will be held in the Centre for Enterprise, Keptie Street, with the first one being held on Wednesday, August 7, from 6 until 9 p.m.
It aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their finances and comply with regulatory and legal requirements through a relevant book-keeping system.
The social media course on Wednesday, September 25, between 6 and 9 p.m. will increase participants’ understanding of how social media can benefit their business.
Business Gateway also offers a wide variety of support to help ventures, including resources online at www.bgateway.com and advice from experienced advisors.
