An Arbroath firm has enjoyed an exciting few days after scooping up three prestigious industry accolades.
Journeycall, part of ESP Group and one of Arbroath’s biggest employers with a client portfolio worth £60 million annually, last week reached the final stage of the prestigious European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards 2015.
Following that announcement, that Theresa Wishart, operations director at Journeycall, has won the Dundee and Angus Women Ahead award for the most enterprising business of the year, announced at The Women Ahead 2015 Business Awards dinner at the weekend.
Theresa was the driving force behind Journeycall’s move from Laurencekirk to a state-of-the-art facility at the end of 2014. Over a 13 month period, she worked with architects, consultants, contractors and staff to ensure that Journeycall’s new base was an innovative space with the latest technology, great facilities for staff and room for expansion as the business continues to thrive.
She said; “I am honoured to receive this award. For me this is not just a personal recognition but also testament to my team at Journeycall who have been instrumental in helping me drive the business forward to the point that we now have a client portfolio worth £60 million annually and are finalists in the European Contact Centre industry awards later this year.”
Terry Dunn, CEO of ESP Group added: “We are so proud of Theresa and for us this award is a public illustration of what we see every day. She launched the Employee Empowerment Association, giving all staff a voice in the business. The result is a highly motivated and loyal workforce who have nominated ESP Group in the ‘Best Companies’ survey. Theresa is natural leader.”
The icing on the cake, Journeycall’s parent company ESP Group has been named in London Stock Exchange’s ‘1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report, which features companies that have significantly outperformed their peers over the last four years.
