Arbroath Burns Club celebrated its 125 anniversary with a special supper on Friday evening at Hospitalfield House.

Members and guests gathered in the Gallery for an evening of celebration and appreciation of Robert Burns and his work.

Guest speaker was Mr Robert Stewart, past president of the Robert Burns World Federation, who gave the toast to Burns.

The honour of addressing the haggis went to Dale Hatton and Mr Dominic Masson, past president of the Montrose Burns Club gave the toast to his Arbroath fellows.

Songs and poems were performed by members of Arbroath Burns Club and Jennifer Christie recited ‘Tam O’ Shanter’.

An enjoyable evening was had by all.
