LAST week Birling Bairns went for a birl at Toddlers@Knox’s instead of their normal home in St Vigeans hall.
All the toddlers and their adults really enjoyed themselves learning some very basic country dancing steps.
Birling Bairns is a Scottish Country Dance group for pre-schoolers to learn some basic steps along with their carer. The children learn about rhythm and movement, some simple dances, left and right and some early counting, all taught through games and play.
Most of the children learn how much fun dancing can be with their carers. If you would be interested in trying some dancing with your child come along to St Vigeans Hall at 2 p.m. on Tuesday afternoons. (term time only).
Bring a drink of juice with you as it is thirsty work. A session is reasonably priced at £2 per family and finishes in time to make the school run. For more details contact Lesley on 01241 873206.
