Angus Council has retained the respected Investors in People (IiP) accreditation, the prestigious stamp of quality worldwide for both public and private sector organisations.
Council leader Iain Gaul commended council staff, saying: “Investors in People accreditation highlights to our customers that we are committed to improvement and quality.
“Given the amount and pace of change that the council is going through, the renewal of our accreditation is a very well deserved achievement for the organisation and our hardworking staff, who continually go the extra mile to make our services stand out.”
Peter Russian, chief executive of Investors in People Scotland, was fullsome in his praise of the authority’s efforts. “This is a fantastic achievement for Angus Council,” he said.
“I congratulate the organisation and its people on their commitment to continuous improvement. IiP offers a flexible, practical and easy to use business improvement tool designed to help organisations and their people achieve their objectives.”
