ANGUS College’s Clova Building in Keptie Road, Arbroath, will take on the spirit of the Tate Gallery for the last half of May, when the students on the Higher National Diploma Contemporary Art Practice course exhibit their work in their end-of-term show.
The artists, from all over Angus, will have around 100 works on display, ranging from oils and mixed media to textile design, jewellery, conceptual art installations, and videos.
There will also be photographic images, achieved not just by digital means, but by traditional darkroom development as well – all in all, a lot of work from only a dozen or so exhibitors!
The exhibition is open from May 21 to 30 during college hours – that’s nine to five – and the artworks on show are for sale, too.
So a viewing visit with your wallet on you could mean you take home a work the value of which will stagger your grandchildren when they bring it to the Antiques Roadshow a generation or two hence!
