An Arbroath salon has teamed up with celebrity hairdresser Trevor Sorbie to help people who suffer from hair loss.

Marie Mcintosh Ramminger, owner of Dream Hair, was “very humbled and proud” to be asked by Trevor to become part of his charity - mynewhair - which supports a national network of independent salons and professionals who provide a wig styling service for people suffering from cancer and medical hair loss.

Marie and senior stylists Rachel Manzie and Nadine Torrie met Trevor last Saturday night and the following day Marie was one of eight delegates who were invited to a salon in Broughty Ferry for an intense day of mynewhair training, and she was able to take the girls with her.

Marie said: “What a fantastic man. He is so inspiring and his work and stories are mind-blowing.

“To be asked to be part of his charity is huge for me and Dream Hair and we feel very honoured.

“We are looking forward to our new venture with mynewhair.

“To be in a position to help others in a very traumatic time of their life as to losing hair due to medical conditions or chemotherapy will be another part of Dream Hair’s ability to care for clients.”
