The Arbroath charity store branch of leading vet charity, PDSA, is urgently appealing for animal lovers to donate their unwanted items or time to help sick and injured pets in the local area.
The store on 227 High Street is desperate for good quality donations including ladies tops and men’s clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories.

PDSA Store Manager, Barbara, said: “As a charity, we rely solely on the generosity of our supporters to donate quality stock for us to sell, to help us raise vital funds for sick and injured pets locally and across the UK.”

The Arbroath store is also looking for volunteers to offer their time to help look after the day-to-day running of the store.

Barbara continued: “We need enthusiastic volunteers especially if your starting college or school leavers and hours to suit for Till Operators and customer service and replenishing stock who are passionate about pets and who can lend a hand at Arbroath PDSA store.

“No previous retail experience is required to come and work with us and for many of our volunteers, they find the experience that they pick up with us enhances their CV and builds confidence. Volunteering with us also gives people a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. So if you are passionate about animals and fancy a new challenge, why not get in touch and see if you could help.”
