Arbroath nurse, Rianne O’Garra has been awarded an RCN Foundation Impact award for her nursing work with a diverse patient group.
The national awards are given annually to nursing professionals who have achieved outstanding impact with activities funded by the RCN Foundation.
Rianne received the award in recognition of her work nursing with a culturally and ethnically diverse patient group.
The RCN Foundation funded Rianne to undertake a Tropical medicine course which enabled her to better understand the treatments needed for some of the conditions her patient group were encountering. Rianne is pictured centre receiving her award.
