An annual charity fun day with a cheeky hue has raised £400 in aid of a national charity raising awareness of breast cancer.

Eric Martin hosted his annual Fun Day at Newgate Bowling Club last Sunday.

Eric made the theme this year ‘50 Shades of Pink’ to raise Breast Cancer Awareness and those taking part rose to the challenge and dressed accordingly.

There was lots to do at the fun day and members came up with some ingenius ideas on how to raise funds for their chosen cause.

Club member Michelle Millar made pink loom bangles raising £85 and raffle ticket sales raised a further £315.

Eric presented Valerie Mowatt, who is currently undergoing treatment for Breast Cancer with the total £400 to donate to Breast Cancer Care.

Valerie proudly handed over a cheque to her Oncology consultant Dr Adamson and her Breast Cancer Care Nurse Morag Caroll on Thursday.

The funds will be used for breast cancer care at Ninewells Hospital.
