Children in Arbroath have something to look forward to next month as everyone’s favourite postie pops by for a visit.

On Wednesday, April 9, Postman Pat be bringing his brand of family fun to the Webster Memorial Theatre, not once, but twice, in ‘Postman Pat Live! - It’s Showtime’, presented by Premier Stage Productions and Classic Media.

Favourites such as Ted Glen, Mrs Goggins, Ajay, Amy and of course Pat’s trusted sidekick Jess, the black and white cat, will be there along with lots of new songs and plenty of audience participation.

The story takes place in Greendale on the day of the talent show. All of the invitations have been sent and it is up to the villagers to come up with something to impress celebrity judge Simon Sly.

Ted’s idea to dust off the old karaoke machine comes a cropper when Amy suggests solar panels are attached to make it more eco-friendly and so it is up to Postman Pat to deliver the equipment needed.

There are a few mishaps along the way and the talent show is put in jeopardy.

What will be performed? Who will win? Will any stars be born? Find out at the Webster Memorial Theatre on Wednesday, April 9, at 1 p.m. and 3.30 p.m.

The show is aimed at three to six year olds and tickets are priced at £12 for adults, £10 for children and also available is a special deal of £40 for a family of four.
