Voigt Partnership Limited was showered with accolades as they took home two prestigious awards from the Dundee Institute of Architect’s Award ceremony last Thursday.
A contemporary design for a private house in Lunanbank won the award for the best ‘on the drawing board’ project beating tough competition in the category.
The four bedroom dwellinghouse is set within an already existing walled garden in rural Angus and is focused around a circular ‘heart’ containing the main living functions.
The second commendation was awarded for the ‘best small project’ in which an. already completed. small extension to a house in Dundee, impressed the judges.
No stranger to success, the Voigt Partnership, has previously won awards including one for their current premises in the converted church on Commerce Street.
“We have a number of really nice projects on the go and it is always nice to get recognition for them,” said chartered architect Jonathan Reeve. Every year the quality of entries are very high and to get anything at all is good.”
The Lunanbank property is fully ready to come ‘off the drawing board’ and anyone interested in the property plans should contact Voigt directly, 01241 879662.
