Appeal for information following break-ins in Arbroath

Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses following two break-ins at addresses in Arbroath that happened between Thursday (September 29) and Saturday (October 1).

Around £4000 worth of jewellery, including cufflinks, gold and pearl pendants, gold chains, gold earrings, engagement and wedding rings were stolen from a house in Bellevue Gardens, Arbroath, along with a three-figure sum of cash.

The theft happened sometime between 3.30pm on Thursday (September 29) and 6pm on Saturday (October 1).

In Bishoploch Road a house was broken into and a pearl necklace was stolen sometime between 1pm and 9pm on Thursday (September 29).
