PARTICIPANTS and instructors are getting all geared up for the sponsored charity event, Zumbathon Angus 2012, which takes place next Saturday (February 4) in Arbroath Sports Centre.
The organisers, Arbroath Skatepark Project, will receive the ticket fees of £5, and all sponsor money is to benefit Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Spokesperson Jillian Low said: “I am encouraging everyone who is up for a bit of a challenge or game for a laugh to come along and join in.
“Having some ‘fun teams’ would be fantastic. It’s all for charity and not to be taken seriously. The more people we have, the better the atmosphere will be.”
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., so participants can choose which times suit them best. It is advisable to register and buy tickets in advance. However, tickets will be available on the day.
Registration forms and sponsor forms are available from all Angus Council leisure centres, or online at Breakthrough Breast Cancer Scotland’s website. Enquires can be made by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by telephone on 07791169313. Remember to wear a touch of pink.
