Local charity Angus Arts loves to bring live theatre shows to rural venues in North East Scotland, particularly if there’s food involved.

‘The Daily Bread’ by Badapple Theatre Company will visit The Retreat in Glenesk on Saturday, October 25 at 7.30 p.m.

The show stars Colin Scott-Moncrieff who will be baking live during performances.

In addition to making bread, Moncreiff plays August de Ville, a master baker whose bakery is the talk of the village of Bottledale, drawing the WI ladies from miles around to sample his sumptuous sponges and beautiful buns.

This brand new show makes its final stop of the tour at The Retreat in Glenesk.

Angus Arts is well known for the wide range of arts experiences it offers, bringing top quality theatre, music, puppetry, films, workshops and other events to a rural audience, and once again they would like to thank NEAT (North East Arts Touring), supported by Creative Scotland, for making this event possible.

The Daily Bread has an age guide of 8+.

The show starts at 7.30 p.m. on Saturday 25th October, it runs for 90 minutes and includes an interval.

Tickets for the show cost £9 adult, £8 OAP, £6 child and £28 family of four and can be purchased from Angus Arts on 01561 298173 or by emailing angus.arts@btinternet.com
