A TOURING American musical duo’s busy schedule will see them make a few appearances in Arbroath this weekend, including a special educational visit.
Blues, rock and Americana roadhouse group Kelly’s Lot will be appearing today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) in three Arbroath venues.
First of all vocalist Kelly and guitar-playing husband Perry Robertson will be appearing this afternoon at 1 p.m. for an hour at Timmergreens Primary School to help broaden the musical horizons of the children.
Kelly’s Lot is a flexible outfit which can take the form of anything from a duo to a full nine piece band and their music appeals to everyone from the very young to the old.
They will follow this tomorrow by appearing at Abbey Music on Kirk Square at between 1 and 2 p.m. and then at the Fisherman’s Inn on High Street between 9.30 p.m. and midnight.
The couple have spent 17 years touring Europe and America spreading their own brand of rocking fun, deep lyrics and vibrant musical energy and selling thousands of CDs in the process.
Kelly’s Lot’s Duo will also be appearing at the Black Abbott Lounge in Montrose tonight between 9 p.m. and midnight and tomorrow between 5 and 7 p.m. they will be playing Non-Zero’s in Dundee.
