Allotment Association shed up for grabs

The Arbroath Allotment Association would like to offer to either a local community group or, interested other, the chance to acquire at a bargain rate their solid and reliable but somewhat aged 12ft x 24 ft shed. It has served the association well over the years but has recently been replaced by a metal portacabin purchased with a grant from Award For All Scotland.

The Allotment Association now intends to use the space where the shed stands to construct communal resources to store woodchip, manure and compost and so would like to offer folk in the area the chance to recycle their old shed. It can be disassembled into pieces and the purchaser will be responsible for its transportation.

Those interested should call Rob Pearce, the Allotment Association president, on 01241 431359.
