The strawberry tea held in Auchmithie on Saturday in aid of Cancer Research UK raised a fantastic £642.68.
Residents from the village and surrounding area turned out in force to support the event, along with a number of supporters from much further afield.
It was organised by the local Angus fund-raising committee of Cancer Research UK
And committee chair Alana Loudon thanked local farmers, P.J. Stirling and L.M. Porter for their support and donating strawberries.
She said: “The lovely berries they donated were the crowning glory of the many delightful treats on offer.
“I would like to thank everyone who contributed in any way towards a fantastic total. “That is £642.68 closer to finding a cure for cancer.”
