ROTARY TRI-AM RAISES £3,400

THE TRI-AM golf competition organised by the Rotary Club of Arbroath and played at Letham Grange golf course on Monday has raised the magnificent sum of £3,400 which will be donated to various charities.
The event was won by Armoned (Addie Clark), 52; with the Gametes (Dr Ian Stuart), 54, in second place; and What If (Christopher Batchelor) 55 (bih) were third.

In the Yellow Ball competition results were: 1, Armoned (Addie Clark), 61; 2, Comm. & Agric. Brokers, 65; 3, What If (Chris Batchelor) 67.

The longest drive was achieved by David Pert and the nearest the hole competition winners were: fourth, Arthur Coleman; sixth, Jonny Booth; eighth, David Dickson; 12th, Ally Riddle; 16th, Bill Stewart; and 18th, Graham Smith.

The Rotary Club extended thanks to all who supported the event on the day, the hole sponsors, and the main sponsor, the Scottish Building Society.
