AN ARBROATH couple celebrated 65 years of marriage on Thursday.
Ina and William Brown were married on April 26, 1947 at Craig Manse near Montrose after growing up in various farms around the county.
After marrying they both took jobs on the land and have one son Thomas.
They also have three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The couple, who are both 85 were visited by Depute Provost of Angus Peter Murphy along with depute Lord Lieutenant Ian Stirling at their home in Warddykes Avenue to mark the occasion.
And they say sticking and working together is the secret to a long and happy union.
