ARBROATH Ladies’ Lifeboat Guild held their March meeting on Monday to outline plans for fund-raising in 2012.
The next fund-raiser will be the RNLI coffee morning tomorrow (Saturday) at the Old and Abbey Church hall from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.
The ladies have organised all the usual stalls, including cake and candy, books, tombola and a raffle.
The annual general meeting for the Arbroath guild will take place at the British Legion hall on Friday, May 25, from 2 p.m.
Once business has been concluded one of the ladies’ famous cream teas will be laid on along with entertainment. Tickets are £2 and are available from any member.
For those interested in a special Easter treat, the RNLI shop at the harbour is open every Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m., and will also be open from 2 to 4 p.m. on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Further fund-raising dates include the annual golf match at Panmure Golf Club which has been arranged for Saturday, June 9 and the RNLI race night at the Meadowbank Inn on Friday, September 21.
The next meeting of the Arbroath Ladies’ Lifeboat Guild will be held on Monday, May 21, at the Sea Cadet Hall at 7 p.m.
