A CHEQUE for £10,000 was presented to the Arbroath Citizen’s Advice Bureau on Monday after a donation from the Bank of Scotland Foundation.
Also on hand was local MSP Graeme Dey, who was delighted to see the organisation receive such a huge grant.
He said: “I was very pleased to be able to officially hand over this cheque to Arbroath Citizens Advice Bureau.
“They do essential work for the local community, particularly when times financially are so much harder for so many people.
“The advice and focussed support they offer is a vital lifeline for folk right across Angus.
“I am sure this grant will help them in their work in Arbroath and that local people will benefit as a result.”
