THE ANGUS Association of Voluntary Organisations has announced an expansion to its services.
Beth Cargill has just been appointed a senior officer after completing her training, and will join fellow officer Susan Godsall in giving financial guidance to charities and community organisations.
Chief officer at AAVO Mai Hearne explained: “In these challenging times for community organisations across Angus, AAVO has seen an increase in requests for help with fund-raising and financial sustainability.
“In response to this we have expanded our community accounts service and are delighted to announce that Beth Cargill, our senior officer has completed her training in Independent Examination of Accounts.
“Beth now joins our already qualified finance officer Susan Godsall, in delivering a range of financial guidance and funding related advice to our members and start-up groups from across Angus.”
