This week we look back at the old Arbroath High School on Keptie Street. It is likely this picture was taken between its construction in 1895 and the addition of the west wing in 1930.
It served as the town’s secondary school until the early 1980s when operations moved to the new building round the corner. At first glance very little has changed, the Jacobean style remains intact, but the landscaping has come on leaps and bounds since Angus College and more latterly Dundee & Angus College took over.
