Letham in full bloom

Letham is undergoing a floral makeover courtesy of D&A College students.

A group of 18 students, enrolled on the certificate in landscape gardening programme at the Arbroath Campus, started work last September producing hanging baskets for the largest village in Angus.

The students have completed a total of 46 baskets to create a hanging garden in the centre of the village.

This is the second year that the college has been involved in a bid to make Letham blossom.

Last year, after a request from the Letham Feuars committee who undertake voluntary community work in the village, the college students undertook a pilot project and made such a blooming good job, that this year’s intake are once again ensuring that Letham looks as good as it can.
