ONE OF Scotland’s best known accordionists will be joined by a champion fiddler for a special concert in Monikie.

Prolific accordionist and composer Gordon Pattullo will be appearing at the Monikie War Memorial Hall alongside Shetlander and 2006 Glenfiddich Champion fiddler Gemma Donald on Saturday, December 1.

Gordon has been regularly broadcasting since the 1970s, has his own record label GP Records, and his albums are frequently nominated for awards.

Gemma is an increasingly popular fiddler from Whiteness in Shetland and previously performed with Gordon at the National Association of Accordion and Fiddle Club’s Ruby Anniversary concert at Perth Concert Hall in March.

Also appearing are vocalist and guitar player Bill Gray and comedian Eddie Divine who will each add their own unique touches to the evening.

Doors open at 7.15 p.m. With the entertainment kicking off at 8 p.m., to book tickets call 01382 350250 or email margocroal@yahoo.co.uk
