YOUNGSTERS in Arbroath proved the town definitely has talent when 17 acts took part in a special event at Coast nightclub on Saturday and Sunday.

The venue was holding a junior ‘Arbroath’s Got Talent’ weekend, when children from all over the town were invited to come and perform.

After a day of auditions and bootcamp on Saturday, the acts were whittled down to 17, with singers, dancers and musicians among them.

And taking the top prize went to duo Jam Peace, who did their own rendition of the Jessie J hit ‘Price Tag’.

The pair are Gregor Milne on guitar and Georgia Gibson on vocals, both of whom attend Muirfield Primary and are members of the Limelight Company.

Around 300 people packed into Coast to give their support for the event and it is hoped next year’s talent show will encourage children from all over Angus to take part.
