A LARGE number of people visited the RNLI lifeboat ‘Royal British Legion Jubilee’ which was berthed in Arbroath’s inner harbour in November, 1975.

The vessel paid a courtesy call on its way from Buckie to London in the course of normal maintenance movements and was open to the public during daylight hours.

The ‘Royal British Legion Jubilee’ was presented to the RNLI by the Legion at a cost of £70,000.
