Renewable energy opportunities

COMPANIES in Angus will have the opportunity to find out how the latest developments in renewable energy can benefit their businesses.

Angus Council is holding a free half day event on Wednesday, December 12, for local firms interested in finding out about renewable and energy efficiency technologies, government incentives and the support that is available for businesses.

The event, at Angus Centre for Enterprise in Arbroath, may interest property developers, architects, energy managers, tourism facilities, rural estates, commercial agriculture, the care sector and local authority property specialists.

The impressive range of speakers will provide an insight into a range of topics and explain the various incentives available including the Renewable Heat Incentive, Feed in Tariff and the simple energy efficiency measures that businesses can implement to make cost savings.

The event is being funded through the East of Scotland Rural Supply Chain Project, which is a European (ERDF) funded project to promote renewable and energy efficiency industries.
