ARBROATH man Ed Gillespie ran in the 1987 Dundee Marathon and raised the tidy sum of £250 for the Chest, Heart and Stroke Club. He completed the course in a creditable four hours and 30 minutes.

Our picture shows the presentation of the donation at the weekly meeting in the Royal British Legion Scotland clubrooms, Helen Street.
